This two-phase art installation was created for the Facebook HQ in Seattle. This three-dimensional “sound wave” sculpture is comprised of discarded domestic objects found in local thrift stores, recomposed and sprayed with multi-colored flocking. The design was initially created by recording the phrase “Live like the future is on fire” and translating the decibel levels into shape, color and form. The second piece is a mural which was cut out and raised to hang off the wall. This is a 2D representation of the piece which was installed 6 months later.
