Voted Top Restaurant Design by GQ | The intersection of story and space. Trove commissioned EC as the interior designers, artists, and branding agency. Our main objectives were to develop an installation for the building’s exterior, large-scale wall coverings, a large scale art piece for the bar area, and to define all branding. The final product boasted a converted food truck embedded into the side of the building from which parfaits are served, a fictional landscape wall hanging that serves as the focal point of the bar area, and six-hundred square feet of hand illustrated and hand painted wallpaper, as well as all fixtures, flooring, colors, etc. Details from the restaurant were woven into graphics from the parfait truck and scenes from the bar were worked into the wallpaper, creating a unified narrative. Throughout the process we worked closely with Heliotrope Architects to achieve these highly integrated results.
